Boards

Products in the form of boards are rectangular-parallelepiped-shaped solid moulded items with fibrous structure. They are based on the use of mullite-siliceous fibers and inorganic binders.
To enhance boards being proof to erosion, their surface may undergo additional treatment.

Board’s characteristics:

  •  low density and thermal conductivity, low thermal capacity, high thermal resistance and considerable mechanical endurance
  • made from materials and components that don`t pose any threat to health and don`t emit any harmful fumes or substances when in use
  • easy to install by means of hand tools

Boards are intended for the lining of gas and electric furnaces` working layer  exposed to temperatures up to 1200 and 1350° C and the speed of a gas stream up to 40 m/s. A Heat-reflection screen can be optionally installed on one of board’s surfaces. If additionally treated with fire-proof substances, they demonstrate enhanced fire-proof properties, which allows the use in the working space of furnaces with the speed of a gas stream up to 70 m/s.

In addition to this, a surface so treated is resistant to gas streams that contain powdered inorganic particles.
